AMG National Trust Bank unveils Chinese-inspired art<\/i><\/h3>\n

Greenwood Village\u2019s AMG took international banking to an artistic level last week with the unveiling of \u201cTranscending,\u201d a commissioned work by China\u2019s Zhou Qian.<\/p>\n

Local business and political leaders were there April 29 as Chairman Earl Wright and wife Nancy debuted the large work in the building\u2019s mezzanine, along with the Shanghai native who spent three months in Greenwood Village creating the wall-length mural.<\/p>\n

\u201cTranscending\u201d was said to combine traditional Chinese calligraphy with contemporary abstract painting with symbolic references to AMG\u2019s core values.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt also represents a unique global perspective of growing international partnerships,\u201d Wright said in his introduction before champagne glasses were toasted and everyone mingled amongst Chinese-inspired appetizers.<\/p>\n
